Product Analyst – Junior/Business Analyst We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Analyst . We’re looking for a Junior Product Analyst / Business Analyst to join our Custody Product team in Hong Kong. This role is perfect for candidates who want to build on their foundation in data analysis and business problem-solving, while gaining exposure to product design in a global banking environment. You’ll work closely with senior product managers and cross-functional teams, turning data into insights, shaping requirements, and helping deliver innovative custody solutions that support institutional clients worldwide. Responsibilities Grow your skills in both product development and business analysis, learning how to translate client needs into real solutions. Work hands‑on with data, uncovering trends and opportunities that directly influence product strategy. Collaborate across functions, engaging with Operations, Technology, and Client Services to see how ideas become reality. Gain industry exposure, building knowledge of custody services, securities markets, and financial products. This is a role where your curiosity, analytical mindset, and drive to learn will be valued. You’ll be given responsibility early, supported by experienced mentors, and encouraged to develop into a well‑rounded product professional. Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for custody product initiatives. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, translating findings into actionable insights. Support the design of new custody solutions by preparing functional specifications, workflows, and user stories. Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Client Services to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively. Assist in preparing business cases, product proposals, and presentations for senior stakeholders. Monitor industry developments and competitor offerings to inform product strategy. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools. Demonstrated ability to perform business analysis tasks: requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder communication. Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex information. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams. Preferred: Knowledge of financial services, banking, or securities markets. Fluency in English is required; Cantonese is not necessary.
