Product Analyst, Markets & Securities Services HSBC Central & Western District, Hong Kong SAR You are invited to join our team as a Product Analyst to work closely with senior product managers and cross‑functional teams in our Custody Product team in Hong Kong. Do you want to build on your foundation in data analysis and business problem‑solving, while gaining exposure to product design in a global banking environment? In this role you will: Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for custody product initiatives. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, translating findings into actionable insights. Support the design of new custody solutions by preparing functional specifications, workflows, and user stories. Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Client Services to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively. Assist in preparing business cases, product proposals, and presentations for senior stakeholders. Monitor industry developments and competitor offerings to inform product strategy. To be successful you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools. Demonstrated ability to perform business analysis tasks: requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder communication. Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex information. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams. Preferred: Knowledge of financial services, banking, or securities markets. Fluency in English is required; Cantonese is not necessary.
