Overview Digital Engagement and Social Media Specialist, Financial Services (HONG KONG) A leading international advisory firm is currently seeking a talented Digital Engagement and Social Media Specialist to join its team in HONG KONG. The firm has a growing global presence with an impressive portfolio of clients, and this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in their growth in the region. The ideal candidate should have experience within corporate or marketing communications with a focus on digital / social media, influence, and web presence. The candidate will need to be familiar with social media platforms such as TikTok, X, Little Red Book, WeChat, etc. Key Responsibilities Advise the firm and its clients on content development and social media communications and engagement strategies across a wide range of services. Advise on client projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables for social media and digital content. Advise on brand storytelling, narrative positioning and content strategy. Serve as the day-to-day contact on social media content and strategy for the firm in the region. Work with clients on brand campaigns and managing social media presence (ideally both with China social media platforms and ex-China social media platforms). About the Candidate University degree in marketing, new media, journalism, corporate communications, marketing etc. Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in communications, social media communications, digital marketing and content development, ideally in a consulting setting. Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Creative in nature, ideas driven. Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think and write creatively and strategically. Proficiency in written and spoken ENGLISH & CHINESE. Experience in Financial Services a PLUS.
