Job Description We’re looking for a Client Manager to join our Institutional Sales team to develop and identify new institutional business opportunities with prospective clients and cross‑sell to existing clients across Hong Kong, Macau and Philippines. What You’ll Do Work with the Head of Institutional Business to develop and implement business development plans and strategy for Hong Kong, Macau and Philippines. Develop relationships and secure business opportunities with prospective institutional clients, including official institutions, insurance companies and family offices across public and private markets. Manage the relationship of selected existing clients, both asset retention and cross‑selling opportunities. Prepare sales proposals and client meeting presentation materials by liaising and coordinating with internal parties such as the RFP team, Fund/Product Managers and other support teams. Work closely with the Marketing Team for marketing events to strengthen and promote our company profile. Attend industry events to ensure Schroders’ presence in the industry. Assist the Head of Institutional Business by maintaining regular contact with major consultants. The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications You Need Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent subjects. Professional accreditation such as a CFA qualification is an advantage. At least 5 years of experience in a front‑office role such as business development, product specialist in global asset management companies, or an investment function at an asset owner. Good market and technical knowledge of all asset classes. Experience as a senior individual contributor in building new relationships and maintaining existing institutional clients’ relationships. Enjoys bringing in fresh ideas to develop new channels into the institutional business. Good communication and presentation skills. Enjoys analytical work and attention to detail. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Willingness to learn new applications. Proficient in speaking both English and Cantonese; ability to speak Mandarin is strongly preferred.
