Sr System Infra Manager - Private Cloud, Virtualization, Storage, networks, container, K8s Number of Vacancies: 1Field: Technical SupportNature: PermanentEmployer: Business financial institutionLocation: Kwun Tong Duties Serve a permanent position to a financial institution; Responsible for the management of the company’s private cloud platform including the support of cloud operation, security and compliance to ensure high reliability and a secured platform, while complying with company policies, regulations and audits. Manage a team of internal cloud staff and an external managed service vendor to develop, implement, enhance, support and operate the private cloud platform and related infrastructure components based on user/business requirements and technology trends, such as platform expansion, new application or system setup, system evergreening, etc. Ensure implementation and operation of the private cloud platform with proper technical and resource planning together with supporting vendors and internal teams, aligning with platform clients or stakeholders for maintenance windows to meet target schedules in areas such as change management, evergreening, major upgrades, problem handling, disaster drills, etc. Provide technical support and advice to platform clients or application teams, including system environmental troubleshooting, infrastructure support for application, and responses to technical and security enquiries regarding system environments or cloud platform usage. Act as a technical expert to lead troubleshooting of incidents or technical issues on the cloud platform with vendor and internal support. Ensure all documentation, records and procedures are updated properly in a timely or regular basis. Lead the implementation and execution of processes and standards to optimise cloud service use, including DevOps and SysOps‑related matters. Handle all operational and systems maintenance, renewal, and new solution deployments with proper budgeting, request for proposals/quotations and contract handling, complying with internal procurement policy and procedure. Review the private cloud environment and related operations proactively and suggest improvement opportunities to management. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications University degree in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably from major financial institutions, with at least 5 years at managerial level. Strong experience in managing system infrastructure (e.g., virtualization, computing systems, storage, network, container, Kubernetes), cloud management platforms, DevOps automation tools, etc. Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience in a complex infrastructure or cloud platform environment. Extensive experience managing change, incident, problem and release management processes for a platform, coordinating with multiple vendors and stakeholders, managing cross‑functional dependencies, setting quality check standards, and enhancing existing practices. Experience and skills in designing and implementing automation for operations are a strong plus. Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work. Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, presentation, documentation and report writing skills. Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
