Associate Legal Editor, Practical Law Asia As an Associate Editor in Practical Law, you will work in conjunction with more experienced colleagues based in Hong Kong, Singapore, and in other jurisdictions to interpret and explain legal, practice and market developments to our customers through online content. This role will be supporting Practical Law’s Asian expansion. About the Role: In this opportunity as Associate Editor, Practical Law Asia , you will: With support and supervision from colleagues, monitor and identify current market developments for Practical Law product offering in Asia. With support and supervision from colleagues, draft new content for online publication. Conduct research projects and present results with proper analysis and in a succinct manner. With support and supervision from colleagues, maintain content to ensure that it is up-to-date and reflects current legal and market practice, and is of the quality and scope that meets business objectives and customer needs. With support and supervision from colleagues, respond to queries from customers and provide support to others to ensure that questions are answered and published appropriately. Provide support to the Practical Law editorial teams. About You: You’re a fit for the role of Associate Editor, Practical Law Asia if you have the following required qualifications: Either Undergraduate Law Degree in Hong Kong, Singapore or another common law jurisdiction, or Undergraduate Degree in a subject other than Law and Post Graduate Diploma in Law (or equivalent) in Hong Kong, Singapore or another common law jurisdiction. Previous experience working in a Legal/Publishing environment, using technology to create and disseminate online content. Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Chinese. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work to deadlines and able to prioritize and manage own workload. Able to assimilate and apply new complex information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent attention to detail. Comfortable with technology and able to adapt to new technology quickly. What’s in it For You?
