Assistant Vice President, Operational Excellence Specialist (1 Year Contract) Peak Reinsurance Company Limited ("Peak Re" or the "Company") is a Hong Kong-based global reinsurance company. Fosun International Limited (00656.HK) and Prudential Financial, Inc. own approximately 87% and 13% of Peak Re, respectively, through Peak Reinsurance Holdings Limited. The Role: As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and standardization across the organization. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing process documentation and governance frameworks, identifying inefficiencies and leading optimization initiatives that elevate operational performance. What You’ll Do: Lead and support process improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and partnering with teams to implement solutions. Serve as a project coordinator for process optimization efforts, managing cross-functional teams to deliver impactful workflow enhancements. Develop, implement and maintain company‑wide standards for documenting policies, processes and workflows, ensuring consistency in format, structure and terminology across all business units. Build and manage a centralized repository for all process documentation and ensure effective governance. Evaluate, implement and oversee technology solutions that support process automation and standardization. Track, assess and report on the maturity and adoption of operational excellence practices across the organization. Facilitate training, workshops and change management efforts to drive alignment and engagement in process excellence initiatives. What You’ll Bring: University graduate in Business or related fields. 8-10 years of relevant experience in transformation, operational/process improvement in insurance/reinsurance industry. Proven expertise in operational excellence, process management or business transformation. Strong command of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or BPMN. Proficiency in process modelling tools and documentation governance frameworks. Ability to coordinate and deliver cross‑functional improvement initiatives in a structured and measurable way. Hands‑on experience in reinsurance operations. Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills across diverse teams and business units. Detail‑oriented and analytical mindset with a passion for problem‑solving and continuous improvement. Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment while driving initiatives to completion.
