About the Role As a Merchandiser, you will report to the Merchandising Manager and provide support across multiple tasks associated with product sourcing, procurement, and coordination. Your keen attention to detail, exceptional communication abilities, and capacity to excel in a dynamic setting will play a key role in advancing the achievements of our merchandising endeavours. Work closely with the Merchandising Manager to understand product and project requirements (e.g., competitiveness, pricing, innovation, quality, delivery). Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers; conduct market research and trend analysis. Coordinate with suppliers for samples, pricing, and purchase agreements; support negotiations to secure favorable terms. Receive and validate purchase orders, align with factories on shipping schedules, and regularly follow up on order status. Artwork & Sampling Coordinate artwork development to meet customer branding and specifications. Facilitate sample approvals by working with suppliers, internal teams, and customers. Quality, Compliance & CSR Assist in quality checks on samples and bulk production; collaborate with QA and suppliers to resolve defects. Participate in pre-shipment inspections to ensure compliance with specifications. Support QA Manager by collecting necessary product test reports and handling daily QA activities. Support CSR Manager in following up with suppliers on internal CSR audits, including collecting and updating Corrective Action Plans (CAP). Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records of sourcing, product development, and purchasing activities. Generate reports related to supply chain management, CSR, sampling, and product inspections. Maintain clear communication with design, QA, and supply chain teams for smooth execution of merchandising plans. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless information flow. Assist Merchandising, CSR, and QA Managers with assigned tasks. Academic / Professional Qualification Bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain management, or a related field. Good and fluent in writing and speaking English and Mandarin. Desired Skills and Experience 3 years working experience for an international buying office. Experiential knowledge of the following product ranges (but not limited to): Furniture, Lighting, Home Décor, Home Textiles, Kitchenware. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Analytical and conceptual thinking.
