SW8651 | 27 May 2024 IT Infrastructure Specialist (Storage/Linux, 50-60K) Responsibilities Oversee the installation, deployment, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of server and storage infrastructure. Provide technical consultation and strategic planning for website development, user application systems, system software, and hardware. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements and propose cost‑effective, optimized solutions. Ensure high performance and availability of server and storage infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Linux environments. Generate comprehensive system documentation and reporting. Research emerging trends in Linux and storage technologies to identify opportunities for service improvements. Advise and support application development teams with technical expertise. Respond to emergency production incidents, provide on‑site support. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in storage and server support, preferably in large‑scale Linux enterprise environments. Proficient hands‑on skills with Linux, and storage solutions, including but not limited to SAN Storage, Veritas Netbackup, VSP, Tuning Manager, NETAPP, Brocade etc. Excellent oral and written communication abilities in English.
