About the opportunity This is a key in‑house insurance leadership role responsible for shaping and managing the Group's insurance framework across Hong Kong, Mainland China and Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on risk mitigation, cost efficiency and service quality for both business units and residential owners. Key responsibilities Lead the end‑to‑end management of the Group's insurance portfolio, including property and casualty, construction, liability, employee benefits, marine and specialist lines across PRC and Southeast Asia operations. Oversee placement, renewal and administration of group insurance programmes, ensuring optimal coverage, smooth claims handling and effective coordination with external advisers. Act as a central contact point for business units, brokers, insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors and other stakeholders on all insurance and claims‑related issues. Review and endorse insurance and indemnity provisions in contracts with vendors, contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with Group standards and regulatory requirements. Track insurance budgets and premium spend, recommend cost‑effective solutions and prepare management reports using claims and loss data analytics. Design and deliver training and briefing sessions to promote risk awareness, workplace safety and effective claims procedures across operating units. Support business partners with programme enrolment and day‑to‑day enquiries, and take on other insurance or risk‑related assignments as required. About you Degree holder in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Management or related disciplines; recognised professional insurance or risk qualifications (such as ANZII, ACII, ARM or CRM) are an advantage. At least 8 years' relevant experience in risk management or insurance within a sizeable organisation, with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial capacity. Solid hands‑on exposure to property and casualty, marine, construction‑related insurances, employee compensation and group medical/employee benefits, including handling complex claims and liability issues. Strong understanding of how insurers, brokers and loss adjusters operate, and proven experience working with them on programme placement and claims. Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to interpret data and translate it into practical recommendations. Collaborative working style with confidence in partnering across functions and seniority levels, together with excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua, including experience in tendering processes.
