Employer Our client is a Hong Kong‑listed company with major businesses in property development and investment globally. To facilitate their expansion, they are hiring a CFO based in Hong Kong for company development both in Hong Kong and overseas. Job Duties Strategic Financial Leadership: develop and execute the company’s long‑term financial strategy, lead capital planning, treasury management and cash flow optimisation, provide financial modelling and investment analysis for new developments and acquisitions. Financial Operations & Reporting: oversee all accounting, financial reporting and internal controls, manage multi‑entity consolidations and month‑year‑end close processes, implement and maintain robust financial systems and policies. Capital Markets & Investor Relations: lead fundraising activities, manage banking relationships and explore innovative financing tools, maintain relationships with investors, analysts and rating agencies. Compliance & Risk Management: ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and accounting standards, establish risk management frameworks to address market and regulatory changes. Team Leadership & Development: lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team, foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA or equivalent preferred). 15+ years of experience in finance leadership, with at least 5 years at senior executive level (CFO or VP Finance) in real estate development. CPA or similar professional credentials highly preferred. Proven experience managing financial operations for overseas property developers. Strong skills in financial modelling and construction finance. Exceptional strategic, communication, and leadership abilities. Fluent in English and Mandarin & Cantonese (written and spoken).
