Senior Specialist Control Tower

Oversee orders, shipments, and any exceptions across all transportation modes and routes. Manage data, reporting, and performance metrics. Perform root cause analyses for operational issues such as delays and damages, and contribute to reports on corrective actions. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding daily operations, escalations, and updates on their status. Communicate with overseas offices and operations teams to enhance the efficiency of processes. Assist the manager with obtaining shipping quotes while managing and negotiating freight rates. Ensure compliance with shipping procedures for VIP customers and keep systems updated. Generate shipment orders, and monitor the invoicing process for shipments. Build and sustain strong relationships with VIP customers, overseas offices, and agents to boost global revenue. What we are looking for Higher Diploma or degree in Logistics Management and Transportation, or a comparable qualification. At least 5 years of experience in servicing VIP accounts and/or in a Control Tower, preferably within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry. Strong customer orientation with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with various functional teams and be a supportive team member. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, with a requirement for Mandarin. Competent in computer skills, including MS Office applications, Office 365, Outlook, with particular expertise in Excel. Preference for availability on short notice.
