Senior Specialist / Specialist I (Cyber Security) Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is a private organization jointly owned by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and The Hong Kong Association of Banks. The Company’s key objective is to develop and operate a safe and efficient multi‑currency and multi‑dimensional financial infrastructure in Hong Kong for: large‑value interbank fund transfers denominated in HKD, USD, Euro and RMB interbank money settlement of equity and debt securities transactions in Hong Kong via linkages with the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited and the HKMA’s Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU) system small‑value interbank fund transfers denominated in HKD and RMB via the HKD and RMB Faster Payment System interbank clearing and/or money settlement of retail payments (e.g. paper cheques, autocredits, credit card payments, etc.) The Company is also the operator of the HKMA’s CMU system. Apart from interbank clearing‑and‑settlement services, the Company and its subsidiaries support the HKMA and the financial industry to foster the development of the financial technology (“FinTech”) ecosystem in Hong Kong. Major Responsibilities Enhance system and network infrastructure for the implementation of cyber‑security initiatives, e.g. PIM, SIEM, DLP, APT, etc. Assist in planning, designing and implementing appropriate technological solutions to defend against cyber attacks and intrusions Devise procedures and processes for monitoring and logging of security events for analytic processes and investigations Coordinate with network, system, security, operation and development teams for implementation of system and network infrastructure changes to enhance cyber resilience Work closely with outsourcing partners on delivery of vendor solutions for cyber‑security initiatives Define and maintain standards and guidelines for configuration and set‑up of system and network infrastructure for cyber‑security solutions Evaluate and assess emerging technologies to address the changing risk of cyber threats Implement and support different security tools/packages on various system platforms and network security architecture Upgrade and maintain an up–to‑date system and network environment to meet cyber‑resilience requirements Diagnose system and network infrastructure faults to ensure rapid restoration of normal service Be on call for emergency production incidents to provide fire‑fighting support and perform shift duties as required Requirements University degree preferably in information technology, information security, computer science or related discipline Minimum 7 years of experience in network security/architecture Strong knowledge of network security including firewall rules, router ACL, IPS, IDS, network access control, etc. Expertise in open‑platform technology and server virtualization Sound knowledge of network layer 2, layer 3 and routing protocol including TCP/IP, Ethernet and VLAN Experience working for major financial institutions Excellent problem‑solving skills including root‑cause analysis Knowledge of SOC, DLP and SIEM is an advantage Certification in networking (e.g. CCIE) and information security (e.g. CISSP, CISA) preferred Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Specialist I (Cyber Security) How to Apply Interested parties please send your curriculum vitae stating your current and expected salaries, and contact phone number to the Human Resources Division, Unit B, 25/F, MG Tower, 133 Hoi Bun Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, or click the “Apply Now” button below.
