Asia Due Diligence & Business Intelligence Specialist | Hong Kong or Singapore About the job Asia Due Diligence & Business Intelligence Specialist | Hong Kong or Singapore About our client: Our client is a leading global intelligence and compliance risk advisory firm, specialising in enhanced due diligence investigations, asset tracing, litigation support, and ESG/human rights investigations. They help organisations make informed, ethical decisions about the professionals and businesses they work with, the assets they acquire, and where and how they operate. Our client have a generous work from home policy of 3 days per week once candidates have passed probation. About the job: Our client is seeking researchers and/or case managers to join their growing Asia practice. Ideal candidates will have experience in due diligence, ESG and Human Rights, disputes and litigation support, political risk, and/or investigative journalism. Candidates from other backgrounds looking for a career change are also welcome. The position offered will depend on the candidates prior experience in a relevant field. Key responsibilities: Manage investigative assignments: Conduct complex open source and human intelligence-led investigations, including pre-transactional integrity due diligence checks. Report writing: Produce concise and cogent reports that integrate research findings with in-depth contextual analysis. Client briefings: Deliver written and verbal briefings to senior management and clients. Business development: Prepare proposals for new business and support the development of the human source network in Asia. Team training: Assist in training new team members and proofreading reports. Required experience: Language proficiency: Fluency in English and at least one key regional language (Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, or Bahasa). Work experience: 1-4 years of full-time post-graduate work experience in corporate intelligence or a relevant investigative background. Research tools: Experience using open source research tools such as LexisNexis and Factiva. Project management: Ability to plan and manage multifaceted research projects. Educational background: A bachelors degree in a relevant field. Technical Skills: Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Desired attributes: Interest in international affairs: A keen interest in Asian and international affairs and business. Communication skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Team player: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proactive mindset: A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to work outside job specifications when required. Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and respond well to development feedback.
