Cloud Engineer

The role As a Cloud Consultant provide technical and consultative guidance for solutions opportunities on a range of complex engagements and deliver technical architectural design, strategies and solutions for engagements. This happens with platform and infrastructure components, both On‑premise and Cloud, according to the IT industry frameworks and best practices, by that you achieving high quality standards that generate value for our clients and allow us to follow and support them in their long‑term IT strategy. Candidate must have overall 7–10 years of hand‑on experience in Azure/AWS technologies and its management background. 5 to 8 years relevant experience required as a Azure/AWS Administrator or within a large organization (>5000 users) implementing complex IT solutions. Key Responsibilities Leading the implementation of small, mid, and large multi‑national engagements within and across countries. Execution of highly complex consulting services based on best practices. Proposing problem solving activities and approaches for dynamic customer challenges within engagements. Supervise lower‑end engagement scoping, including the execution of higher complex deliverables and engagements. Possess foundational working knowledge of IT industry best practices and Well‑Architected frameworks. Improving the overall service business by identifying internal process improvements, training, and opportunities. Technology and business enablement advocate to advise the best practice methods in how to utilize IT to drive competitive advantage. Provide expert guidance to customers, driving solution architecture, and ensuring solution strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy. Create and implement a solution roadmap and select the right infrastructure and technology platform. Lead internal and external initiative to standardize, automate and develop competitive assets and accelerators. Skills and Professional Attributes Relevant experience working with Azure/AWS or another public cloud solution (GCP/AliCloud/Tencent). Over 3 Years’ experience implementing and supporting cloud services, specifically: Azure/AWS IaaS, Monitoring Services, Cloud Backup Services, or Site Recovery Services. 2 Years’ experience with Microsoft Hyper‑V and Virtual Networking (preferred). Experience as an Azure Admin working with: Azure AD, Azure MECM (formerly SCCM), Azure Update Management, and Migrating workloads. Knowledge of design or implementation of on-premises Private Clouds, including any of the following: Azure Stack Hub or Azure Stack HCI. Relevant experience with IaaS and PaaS services, SQL Azure, Azure Sentinel, Migration from On‑premises environments to Azure platform, Windows Server services and configuration and deployment, Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Radius, etc), Hybrid On‑premises & Azure/AWS platform. Fundamental experience with Azure cognitive services (ML, AI, etc), Azure DevOps and Azure Data & Databases. Ability to effectively manage complex relationships. A communication style which positively impacts. Flexibility & resilience. Ability and willingness to challenge constructively and effectively. Willingness to work across shifts. University bachelor's degree or preferably with an Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications or Information Technology. Certifications Must Have Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑303 and Z‑304, or AZ305), any other Azure certifications would be an advantage. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, and/or other AWS certifications would be an advantage. Good to have TOGAF, ITIL, Azure SDN or Azure ARC experience a plus. Any 1 x Specialty certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
