We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineering Lead to lead and mentor our client's cloud engineering team while supporting technical presales engagements. In this role, you will design enterprise‑scale Azure Landing Zones, ensure governance and compliance, and collaborate with sales teams to craft compelling cloud solutions for our customers. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Azure Landing Zone architecture aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework. Define subscription hierarchy, management groups, identity and access management (Entra ID), and network topology. Establish governance through Azure Policy, tagging standards, and cost management. Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and presentations for RFPs and tenders. Conduct technical workshops, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts (POCs) to showcase Azure capabilities. Articulate value propositions and ROI for Azure solutions to business and technical stakeholders. Security & Compliance Integrate security controls (Azure Firewall, Defender for Cloud, NSGs) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Implement operational resilience and disaster recovery strategies. Leadership & Mentorship Coach engineering teams on best practices for cloud architecture and DevOps automation. Drive adoption of Infrastructure‑as‑Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services and enterprise deployments. Expertise: Deep knowledge of Landing Zone design, governance, identity, and security. Presales Skills: Strong ability to present technical solutions, handle objections, and engage with C‑level executives. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred). Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service and hybrid/multi‑cloud strategies.
