As our Category Manager Pets , you will be the driving force and specialist for all pet products and solutions across our entire business. Acting as the central link between our customers, sales/marketing, and merchandising teams, you will ensure we deliver the right products, at the right price, with the right positioning—whether for seasonal collections, permanent ranges, or promotional launches. You will own the pet category portfolio, oversee pricing and positioning strategies, coordinate business reviews, and ensure we offer compelling, competitive, and innovative solutions to our customers. This is a critical, hands‑on role for someone who loves the pet industry, thrives on variety, and can connect commercial vision with operational execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the full pet product portfolio offered to each customer, ensuring tailored, relevant, and on‑trend assortments. Manage and coordinate seasonal collections, permanent ranges, and promotional offers for the pet category. Analyse and optimise portfolio structure, including segmentation. Key Account Management Customer Relationship Management – serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, ensuring continuous support and satisfaction. Develop and implement tailored account strategies in collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Sales Growth – identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales within existing key accounts and acquire new business. Performance Tracking – regularly analyse account performance, providing actionable insights to both customers and internal teams. Commercial Strategy & Business Reviews Lead business reviews for key customers, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive growth and profitability. Develop and maintain competitive pricing and positioning strategies for all pet products and collections. Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to proactively refine our offer and identify new business opportunities. REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 years’ experience in category management, product management, or a similar commercial role. Experience in the Pet industry is a big plus. Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work cross‑functionally and build strong relationships with customers and internal teams. Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution skills; comfortable with both data analysis and creative solution development. High level of ownership, initiative, and adaptability – able to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Impeccable English – other European languages are a plus.
