Executive Director, Financial Institutions Apply for the Executive Director, Financial Institutions role at Standard Chartered . Key Responsibilities Be the lead banker for a select group of Bank & Broker Dealers (BBD) clients assigned by the team head. Be single point of contact to clients with regards to origination and all relationship management responsibilities in HK. Work with the Global Account Managers (GAM), Field Account Managers (FAM) and Product Partners in Markets, Transaction Banking and Risk to deliver the SCB Network to our clients. Demonstrate effective origination skills, relevant product knowledge and acute knowledge and experience in identifying and managing all Risks. Build and originate new client relationships by providing service and solutions tailored to the clients' needs and acting as a content provider alongside regional and global colleagues. Conduct client analysis, report on post‑origination activities; document client meetings; adhere to sales discipline requirements and create case studies. Support new transactions: deal execution, credit documentation, limit loading, coordinate with sales/products on fee letters, and deal drawdown. Proactively manage portfolio, engaging clients and product partners to ensure limit utilization. Work with product partners to maximize cross‑sell and returns on risk‑weighted assets. Communicate relevant approved strategy for each client to all relevant internal stakeholders. Push for line utilisation of complex and structured transactions with product partners; oversee Client Managers to ensure high utilisation of regular BAU facilities. Review client profitability data. Lead efforts to amend account strategy if a critical credit‑related issue arises. Form and manage internal deal team for complex transactions involving numerous internal product partners; ensure sensitive deal information is kept confidential. Drive product and geography cross‑sell with clients. Conduct annual account planning exercises, engaging product partners to ensure rigorous account planning and fulfillment of revenue objectives for clients. Perform periodic credit review and provide information/updates, especially during periods of market volatility. Ensure exemplary deal management from origination to post‑deal, maintaining professionalism, completing relevant documentation, fulfilling deal conditions, and monitoring post‑fund disbursement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Banking or Finance (preferred). Understanding of the Financial Institutions sector; knowledge of New Payment Method/BBD industry is an added bonus. Cross‑product operational experience/knowledge. HKMA certification (Types 1, 4 and 6 licences). Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese preferred but not mandatory.
