(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.) You Will Be Responsible For supporting the Manager in overseeing the special events in performing arts venues; hosting meetings on behalf of Venue Operations team on events; handling all tour requests from planning, logistic, communication and execution; coordinating with internal partners; such as: Artistic, Technical and Productions, Facilities Management, District Safety and Security and other department for venue operation logistics; managing and communicating with frontline team members, including casual labour; managing and communicating with external event operators and vendors; providing administrative support to expenses and budget consolidation, materials delivery, vendors sourcing and licensing; managing and planning for ticketing service, enquiries hotlines, F&B catering, signage and guest flow support for special events; supporting daily operation of Performing Arts venue as and when requested; and performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by the Authority. You Should possess a recognized university degree in hospitality, tourism, performing arts or equivalent; have 4-5 years of relevant experience in special events, venue operations in performing venues, tourism and/or hospitality sectors; have good knowledge of front-of-house operation and event operations; be service-oriented with professional customer service skills and positive service attitude; possess good analytical and numerical skills; and be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
