Executive Headhunter | Technology | Fintech | APAC Our client is a leading Prop Trading house and seeks a highly skilled Linux Engineer with deep expertise in Level 3 and 4 administration to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, performance optimization, automation, and architectural improvements of our Linux-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise Linux environments, strong scripting skills, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. Key Responsibilities Perform Level 3/4 support , resolving complex Linux server issues (kernel, performance, networking, security). Design, implement, and maintain high‑availability Linux environments (clustering, load balancing, failover). Automate system administration tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform . Optimize system performance through tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning. Troubleshoot deep technical issues (filesystem corruption, kernel panics, network bottlenecks). Implement and enforce security hardening (SELinux, firewalls, auditd, compliance). Lead migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning. Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines. Document system architectures, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of professional Linux administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian). Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC (Terraform). Experience with storage solutions (LVM, NFS, iSCSI, RAID). Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, iptables/nftables). Security‑focused mindset (patching, vulnerability management, CIS benchmarks).
