Woven & Knit - Senior Product Developer / Merchandiser - Fashion

What you’ll be doing Manage the entire R&D process and full merchandising duties from concept to shipment completion for woven and knit fashion items, including supporting the design team, sample requests, revisions, approvals, and transitions to production and quality assurance teams. Collaborate closely with internal teams (Headquarters and Hong Kong), clients, vendors and factories to ensure high-quality samples, timely deliveries, and customer satisfaction. Lead fabric research and oversee raw material planning in collaboration with suppliers, mills, and key component providers. Negotiate costing and control budgets to ensure financial efficiency while maintaining product quality. Assist senior management in price strategy, capacity planning, vendor selection, and coordination of lead times, shipping windows, and SMS deliveries. Maintain and strengthen business relationships with vendors and factories to facilitate effective product development and production. Liaise with vendors and factories to carry out corrective action and resolve production challenges. Support the garment fitting process, ensuring style consistency across product development stages. Monitor project progress and provide regular business status reports to senior management. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management. What we’re looking for Higher Diploma and above academic qualifications in Fashion Studies, Textile & Clothing, Merchandising or a related discipline. 5+ years solid working experience in Woven & Knit fashion apparel product development or merchandising role. Excellent understanding of fashion trends, textile knowledges, garment construction, manufacturing techniques and supply chain management. Passion for creating products that inspire and delight customers. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance creative vision with practical business considerations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, organized and with strong attention to details. Good working attitude, self-motivated, and adaptable, maintaining professionalism while working independently and collaboratively across teams. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all parties and foster strong relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, experience in using Adobe Illustrator; PLM/SAP system is a plus. Fluent spoken and good command of written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Willing to travel internationally, including visits to Headquarters, regional offices, suppliers, mills and vendors (if applicable).
