Data Scientist - Global Insurance Company About the Role We are seeking a visionary Data Science Manager to lead our client’s advanced analytics and AI initiatives within the insurance domain. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, a strong track record of deploying scalable solutions and transforming traditional insurance processes with cutting‑edge AI. Responsibilities Utilize advanced statistical methods to explore large datasets, uncover trends, and create predictive models that tackle business challenges, delivering actionable insights. Design and implement high‑impact AI use cases across the insurance value chain. Architect and deploy LLM and Generative AI models for use cases such as document processing, chatbots, and predictive analytics. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI integration across insurance workflows. Oversee end‑to‑end model lifecycle: data ingestion, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry regulations. Drive experimentation with emerging AI technologies and frameworks. Optimize performance and cost‑efficiency of models on Azure cloud infrastructure. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics). PhD candidates are encouraged to apply. 6+ years in data science or machine learning, with 2+ years in a leadership role. Proven experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, PaLM) and Generative AI applications. Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and ML Ops practices. Hands‑on experience with Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and OpenAI integration. Deep understanding of NLP, deep learning, and model fine‑tuning techniques. Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks). Familiarity with insurance data (claims, policies, risk models) is a strong plus.
