Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Specialist to join our team in Central, Hong Kong. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is critical in ensuring smooth operational processes across finance, compliance, and human resources. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s investment activities in both Web3 and traditional asset classes, while maintaining robust internal controls and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Reconciliation & Invoicing Support Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of accounts and transactions. Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement. Accounting Assist with bookkeeping, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements. Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors when required. Human Resources Coordinate HR administration, including onboarding, payroll, and MPF contributions. Maintain employee records and support HR implementation. Manage account opening processes with banks, custodians, and other service providers. Ensure all documentation meets KYC/AML requirements. Regulatory Compliance Monitoring Monitor compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal policies. Assist in implementing AML/CTF frameworks and industry best practices. Support ongoing regulatory filings and reporting obligations. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related discipline. 2–3 years of relevant work experience in operations, accounting, or compliance within financial services. Open to highly motivated fresh graduates. Knowledge of financial services regulations, AML/CTF frameworks, and industry best practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English and Chinese is mandatory. Proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is a strong plus. Desired Attributes Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and with external stakeholders.
