Operation and Settlement Specialist

We are looking for a motivated settlement specialist with relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly analytical, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities Transaction Coordination - oversee the settlement process for real estate purchases, loan refinances, or other financial transactions and ensure all necessary documents are properly prepared and signed. Settlement – execute daily settlement of foreign exchange trades accurately within strict deadlines. Monitor trade confirmations and match trade instructions. Perform daily reconciliation of cash, position, and trade records, investigating and resolving any breaks or discrepancies. Documentation - verify settlement instructions and transaction legal and financial documents for accuracy and compliance with regulations and prepare settlement statements. Financial handling - assist in calculating prorated taxes, fees, and payoffs and process escrow disbursements and ensure timely fund transfers. Customer Assistance & Issue Resolution - troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints regarding products, services, billing, etc. and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department. Operational Support - serve as a key point of contact for internal teams and external counterparts to resolve settlement-related inquiries and issues. Monitor and support the daily operational workflow. Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems. Process Improvement - assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance settlement efficiency, control, and risk management. Post‑settlements task - submit recorded documents to county offices, archive closed files, and update internal databases. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance related field with 1+ years’ proven experience in settlement. Good knowledge of settlement. Fintech experience is a plus. Brilliant oral and written communication skills. Flexible to work independently or in a team. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
