Our client is a newly incorporated company aiming to apply for an SFC license to conduct Type 4 and Type 9 regulated activities in Hong Kong (not holding client assets, PI only). They plan to manage private fund investing in tokenized products. Currently, they are seeking 1 Responsible Officer to join their team. Candidates with experience in asset management for private equity funds or private banking are particularly well‑suited for this role. Client background: client now operate a comprehensive tokenization platform in offshore focused on equities, bridging traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi). The team has over 18 years of combined experience in TradFi and DeFi. Responsibilities Act as the Responsible Officer to supervise Type 4 & 9 regulated activities; Oversee the daily operation to ensure the activities are in comply to all applicable laws, rules and regulations at all times, including the proper documentation of all operations, policies and procedures; Act as a point of contact for regulatory inquiries, maintaining a professional relationship with the SFC; Build the fund products’ investment strategy, investment style, asset allocation, specific bond/stock allocation, trading timing, etc. Analysis on the portfolio’s risk exposure and write related reports; Cooperate with the company sales to meet clients according to the company’s marketing plan; Requirements Candidates who are currently accredited by the SFC as a Responsible Officer and have a minimum of 3 years of solid experience in fund management within the past 6 years. Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Solid Knowledge in tokenized and DeFi products.
