The incumbent will report to the Group Legal Counsel and will assist in drafting and managing legal documentation and help ensure the company, and its group companies, operates according to the highest ethical, legal, and compliance standards. The incumbent should have a keen eye and keep themselves abreast of all legal & statutory compliances and will provide legal support and advice across various departments and group companies. This position will form part of the global legal team. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including business services contracts, vendor arrangements, and joint venture agreements. Provide legal support for a wide variety of projects including M&A, joint ventures, corporate finance, company secretarial, employment and risk management. Advise on dispute resolution matters and manage legal proceedings, as needed. Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and industry bodies on corporate legal and compliance issues. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assess their impact on operations, and support risk mitigation strategies. Ensure all legal documentation accurately reflects rights and obligations and is practical from both product and business perspectives. Support ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned. Qualifications UK-qualified solicitor with 6+ years PQE from a mix of reputable law firms and in-house roles. Experience working across emerging markets/APAC is advantageous, particularly in manufacturing or apparel industries. Familiarity with M&A and/or corporate finance transactions is an advantage. Excellent command of English (written and spoken), Hindi advantageous. Experience of legal tech or contract management systems highly sought after. Commercially minded, analytical, and results-oriented. Resilient, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
