Senior System Analyst(bank project)

Responsibilities: Support supervisor to establish and lead proactive initiatives to develop and improve the quality of IT services; promote continuous improvement; work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure solution implementation progress as planned. Communicate with various departments to assess the scope of the applicability of the Transformation/Innovation solutions. Communicate with project sponsors on project status, issues, problems and open to valid suggestions from the team. Translate business requirements into IT solution. Oversee, create, design and implement IT solution. Plan, direct and coordinate the actions of the development team and act as a liaison between the development and senior leadership. Participate in various evaluation of demonstrations, software, hardware, products, and various technologies. Plan and monitor the work of subordinates. Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity. Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in day‑to‑day work. Requirements University graduate in Computer Science, Information System, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines or equivalent. Preferable over 8 years’ experience in system development covering the following. Minimum 3 years’ experience in system design and analysis. Solid hands‑on experience in IT systems implementation projects. Strong oral and written presentation in English and Chinese. Experience in conducting business and system analysis with strong business acumen. Knowledge and work experience with card payment such as Visa, Mastercard and ISO 8583 is advantageous. Strong communication and business analysis skills and knowledge with IT architecture and infrastructures. Working knowledge in banking or financial sector is advantageous. Strong leadership, embracing changes, fast learners with ability to work in a collaborative environment. Experience working with software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum; Scrum Master Certificate or equivalent is advantageous. Project Management Experience with certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) is advantageous. Familiar with development on cloud platform (e.g. AWS, Google, Azure) is advantageous. Candidates with less qualification and experience will be considered for the role of System Analyst. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
