USPACE Technology Group Limited Job Openings for Multiple Satellite Engineer Positions
USPACE Technology Group Limited ( is the world’s first industrialized space satellite manufacturer, headquartered in Hong Kong and Dubai. With an industrialized design philosophy, large-scale satellite component manufacturing, and competitive international market pricing as its advantages, the company utilizes intelligent production lines to mass-produce optical remote sensing and communication satellites. USPACE is committed to supporting global sustainable development and advancing human progress. USPACE is organizing the production of 100 optical remote sensing satellites with a 5-meter spatial resolution at its facilities in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and a planned satellite factory in Thailand.
To achieve its project goals, USPACE is recruiting engineers for five positions: Satellite Structure Design, Power Systems, TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking, and Command), Integrated Electronics Hardware, and Embedded Software, with one vacancy for each role.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the structural and mechanical design of satellites, including the overall layout.
- Design unit-level structures for R&D products and provide mechanical models during unit delivery.
- Handle tasks such as drawing designs, production plans, and assembly schematics.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Mechanics, or related fields, with 3+ years of experience in the space satellite industry preferred.
- Proficient in common structural design software.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Design satellite power systems, perform energy balance analysis, and select power supply and storage equipment.
- Design onboard power cables.
- Conduct electrical system testing, follow up on module verification, and analyze results.
- Address and resolve issues during debugging.
- Optimize satellite power systems.
- 3+ years of experience in power systems.
- Solid understanding of power system theories and principles, with experience in power system design and component selection.
- Familiar with the design and optimization of electronic components.
- Skilled in independent design and debugging of power systems.
- Prior experience in space power system design is preferred.
- Develop and integrate satellite TT&C, data transmission, navigation systems, and communication payloads.
- Perform acceptance, testing, and trials for the aforementioned systems.
- Build ground testing systems for satellite TT&C and communication payloads.
- Support satellite project validation, testing phases, and in orbit management.
- Assist in building and maintaining satellite ground TT&C networks.
- Contribute to the R&D of TT&C communication products.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with work experience in RF and communication systems.
- Possess a foundation in RF and communication, be familiar with the basic principles of satellite communication products, and have experience in the research, development, and debugging of RF transceiver channels.
- Skilled in simulation software, PCB design, and hardware debugging.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork spirit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Responsible for designing integrated electronic system solutions, schematic design, and PCB layout and routing.
- Responsible for component selection and acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with software teams for hardware debugging, validation, fault analysis, and reliability testing.
- Prepare process documentation in compliance with development standards and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree or above, with more than 3 years of work experience; strong foundation in digital and analog circuits, and proficiency in digital circuit board design.
- Familiar with PCB design processes and standards, and skilled in using relevant design software.
- Proficient in embedded processors such as MCU, FPGA, and DSP, as well as their peripheral interface circuits and drive methods.
- Familiar with common communication interfaces such as EMIF, CAN, UART, SPI, and AD/DA, as well as custom test protocols.
- Skilled in using simulation tools, oscilloscopes, and other equipment for hardware debugging.
- Capable of independently completing complex circuit design and debugging.
- Proficient in reading and writing related technical documentation.
- Prior experience in space hardware is preferred.
- Complete the optimization and porting of onboard embedded system software.
- Develop embedded application software for satellites based on user requirements for onboard software.
- Prepare test outlines and detailed test procedures, and assist in satellite testing.
- Maintain ground testing systems, including dynamic simulation software and testing software.
- Proficient in software development for STM32F series, BM3803/23, and similar platforms.
- Experienced in optimizing, tailoring, and porting embedded operating systems such as uCOS, FreeOS, with familiarity in VxWorks being a plus.
- Deep understanding of CAN bus, serial communication, high-speed communication hardware interfaces, and software protocols.
- Familiar with the principles of embedded systems hardware, commonly used sensors, and hardware circuit characteristics and parameters.
- Prior experience in spacecraft software development is preferred.
Locations: Shenzhen, Hong Kong, or Thailand. Candidates may choose their primary work location based on personal circumstances and job requirements. Start Date: January 2025.
Compensation and Benefits- Monthly salary: HKD 25,000–35,000, negotiable based on personal qualifications and primary work location.
