APAC Talent Acquisition Manager The APAC Talent Acquisition Manager leads talent attraction and hiring across the region while supporting people strategy, talent development, and employee engagement to ensure a positive employee journey. Working as part of the global People & Culture team and reporting to the APAC HR Manager, the role primarily focuses on building strong candidate pipelines, securing top talent, and collaborating with teams across functions and regions to deliver an inspiring, well‑rounded employee experience. Additionally, the role further supports key functions within people operations. Key Responsibilities Partner with hiring business and form strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand and plan for talent needs and recruiting best practices. Develop in‑depth knowledge of enterprise and industry trends to identify required skills and capabilities. Own the full‑cycle recruitment strategy for Human8 in APAC. Sourcing and screening candidates through various channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, university relationships, referrals, etc.) and proactively build a talent pipeline. Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and interview teams. Conduct phone and virtual interviews, assessing relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Negotiate job offers and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications. Manage talent pipeline in the applicant tracking system (Pinpoint). Identify and drive implementation of improvements in talent attraction and hiring processes. Keep up to date with trends related to attracting, recruiting, and onboarding talent. Recruitment Marketing Continuously evolve the Talent Attraction strategy and explore new and creative ways to attract unique talent within and outside the industry. Partner with marketing and internal stakeholders to set up employer branding and recruitment marketing strategy. Lead execution of recruitment marketing activities, including job fairs, recruiting events, regional recruitment marketing plans, employer‑led content on social media, and employer branding events. Serve as a passionate advocate for Human8, promoting and representing the brand with pride and positivity. People Operations Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Oversee offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and final documentation. Maintain and update HR systems and databases, ensuring accurate employee records and compliance with data protection standards. Administer local payroll processes in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate day‑to‑day administration operations of the local office. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Bachelor’s degree or higher. 3–5 years of recruiting experience with diverse skill sets and proven success in creating recruitment strategies. Experience in a generalist HR role, including payroll, onboarding/offboarding (a plus). Fluent in Chinese to engage with Chinese‑speaking candidates across Greater China. Knowledge of and experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, other social networks). Action‑oriented, proactive, and determination to take ownership of initiatives and ensure timely implementation. Strong communication, persuasion, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills. Highly motivated, well‑organized self‑starter, capable of making an impact on team and business performance. Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and re‑prioritise according to business needs. Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
