Officer/ Assistant Officer of Hong Kong Athletes Career & Education Department Add expected salary to your profile for insights The SPORTS FEDERATION & OLYMPIC COMMITTEE OF HONG KONG, CHINA, is responsible for the promotion of Olympism and sports in Hong Kong. We are now looking for the right candidate to fill up the post of Officer/ Assistant Officer of Hong Kong Athletes Career & Education Department (Ref.: O/AO(HKACED)) on contract basis, which is renewable subject to the prevailing conditions. Duties (a) To assist in planning and implementing marketing and promotional campaigns across online and offline channels; (b) To manage and update social media platforms including content scheduling, posting, and basic community management; (c) To draft and edit marketing materials, including social media copy, e-newsletters, website content, and promotional collateral; (d) To coordinate design and production of marketing assets such as images, short videos, and event visuals with internal teams and external vendors; (e) To provide marketing and administrative support for events, workshops, and outreach programmes; (f) To assist in the organization and coordination of events, workshops, and outreach programmes, and provision of on-site support; (g) To maintain marketing databases, mailing lists, and content calendars to ensure timely and accurate communications; (h) To undertake administrative duties and provide secretarial support to the superiors; (i) To prepare the progress and financial report to CSTB quarterly; (j) To be responsible to answer enquiry from general public; and (k) To support any ad hoc event and undertake any other duties as directed by the superiors. Qualifications (a) a recognized university / associate degree in Sports/ Physical Education/ Recreation/ Journalism / Marketing or relevant disciplines; (b) a minimum of one year’s relevant working experience in marketing, social media, or communication; fresh graduates with strong portfolios will also be considered; (c) good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; (d) experience in social media copywriting is an advantage; (e) knowledge of simple design or video-editing tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Premiere) is an advantage; (f) familiar with various social media platforms, preferably basic knowledge in market research; (g) the qualities of a good team player and strong communication and interpersonal skills. All short-listed applicants will be invited to attend a written test. Successful candidate will be offered the post at a salary subject to the background and work experience. Remuneration Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis with monthly basic salary plus gratuity equals to 5% of the total basic salary drawn during the period of contract upon satisfactory completion of the contract.
