About the job Operations Risk Officer - VATP Company The company is applying for the virtual assets trading platform license with the SFC. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze operations to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the exchanges processes and systems Assist in developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures to mitigate identified risks Collaborate with various departments (e.g., IT, Compliance, Operations) to ensure risk mitigation strategies are integrated into daily operations Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies Prepare and present risk reports to the Risk Management team and senior management, highlighting findings and recommendations Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology that could affect the exchanges risk profile Participate in the development and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery plans Assist in the investigation of any operational incidents or breaches and contribute to the development of corrective action plans Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field Strong interest in cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and financial markets Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
