Job Summary As a key member of the Equities Product Development team, the Vice President will play a critical role in driving the implementation of product and platform initiatives to accelerate the growth of HKEX’s equities business. This role demands a seasoned professional with deep industry knowledge, outstanding stakeholder management capabilities, hands‑on experience in leading and executing major system and operational enhancements, along with a strong commitment to advancing Hong Kong’s financial markets. Responsibilities Drive the enhancement of cross‑departmental systems and operational workflows to ensure seamless readiness for both product and project launches. This includes identifying process gaps, coordinating with relevant teams, and implementing improvements. Facilitate regular updates and maintain cross‑team alignment by organizing structured communication channels, progress reviews, and stakeholder briefings. Ensure that all involved parties are informed, engaged, and working toward shared objectives. Monitor project progress and provide timely reporting to senior management and stakeholders. Track key milestones, manage risks, and expedite issues proactively to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope. Address and resolve implementation challenges by applying problem‑solving skills and leveraging cross‑functional expertise. Oversee and ensure the completeness of internal system testing. Collaborate closely with IT and business units to validate system performance and ensure alignment with business requirements. Conduct annual project planning and budget management, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, cost efficiency, and timely reporting to senior management. Support the development of junior implementation managers by providing guidance on reviewing work, and fostering technical, leadership, and professional growth. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial industries, with a strong track record in project management and stakeholder engagement. Prior roles within exchanges, clearing houses, or brokerage firms are highly preferred. Excellent presentation and advocacy skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders effectively. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and logical reasoning abilities.
