Deskside Engineer

Responsibilities Provide on-site and deskside technical support for end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral issues on Windows/macOS devices. Perform hardware repairs, upgrades, installations, and IMACs (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes) for desktops, laptops, printers, and conference room AV equipment. Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and LAN issues in coordination with the Network team. Manage incident and service request tickets in the ITSM tool (e.g., ServiceNow), ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with users. Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, software deployments, and maintain accurate asset inventory records. Qualifications 3+ years of hands‑on deskside or field support experience in a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS, Microsoft 365 suite, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). A+ or equivalent certification; Microsoft or Apple certifications are a plus. Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users. Proven record in deskside support experience in FSI. Permanent Hong Kong Resident is preferred. Expected Salary in CV is needed for consideration.
