AVP/ Senior Credit Analyst

Conduct thorough credit analysis of SME loan applications, focusing on trading companies and e-commerce businesses, by evaluating financial statements, cash flow projections, credit reports, and industry-specific risks (e.g. inventory turnover, marketplace dependency for e-commerce). Prepare credit assessment report for loan approval. Evaluate customer’s risk profile and give independent recommendations on potential risks and mitigation measures. Monitor active loan portfolios to identify early warning signs of credit deterioration, such as missed payment or declining sales revenue. Conduct periodic reviews of borrower financials and covenant compliance to ensure adherence to loan terms. Develop and implement restructuring plans for delinquent accounts, including negotiating revised payment terms, extending loan tenors, and etc. Collaborate with Relationship Managers and borrowers to address root causes of delinquency and propose viable solutions to minimize losses. Analyze root causes of delinquency and suggest process improvements to enhance collection efficiency. Ensure efficient turnaround of credit processing. Requirements Degree holder, preferably in finance, accounting or other business related fields. CFA, CPA or FRM is a plus. At least 5 years’ solid credit assessment experience in sizable financial institutions with great knowledge of trade finance, commercial lending, lending guidelines and market credit practice. Ideally with a strong knowledge in lending to Chinese enterprises, SME, e-commerce and supply chain industry. Strong analytical skills, report writing and problem solving skills with logical credit judgment. Good team player with tactful inter-personal & communication skills, self-motivated and detail-minded with strong risk control sense and analytical skills.
