Senior Manager (Incubation) in the Office of the Senior Vice-President (Innovation and Enterprise) Senior Manager (Incubation) in the Office of the Senior Vice-President (Innovation and Enterprise) (Ref. R/329/25) The appointee will be responsible for incubation to spearhead the growth and development of our HK Tech 300 invested start-up companies. This pivotal role involves connecting these companies with potential investors, business partners, and customers, while also fostering an environment conducive to innovation and collaboration. Responsibilities Incubation leadership: guide our portfolio of start-up companies through the incubation process, ensuring they have access to the tools and resources needed for success; Ecosystem building: develop and nurture a thriving ecosystem for start-ups, both locally and internationally, by forging strategic alliances with accelerators, venture capitalists, institutions, and corporate partners; Investor and partner connections: actively facilitate introductions and relationships between start-ups and potential investors, business partners, and customers to drive growth and expansion; Strategic collaboration: cultivate partnerships with various organisations to enhance the growth prospects of our start-ups, leveraging industry expertise and resources; Support and monitoring: provide robust support in marketing, product development, funding opportunities, and competitions. Regularly track their progress and offer strategic advice; Stakeholder engagement: build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including venture funders, industry partners, and government officials; Talent development: oversee entrepreneurship training, competitions, and related activities to nurture talent and foster a culture of innovation; and Additional responsibilities: undertake other duties as required to support the overarching incubation strategy and objectives. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably major in business related subject with relevant professional/postgraduate qualifications with at least 12 years’ solid managerial/relevant experience; Demonstrated experience/involvement in ecosystem building and management; Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for supporting start-ups; Excellent business development and networking skills; and Competence in strategic thinking and planning with excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and interpersonal skills. Salary and Conditions of Service Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
