Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and driven Data Scientist to join our research team. In this role, you will focus on conducting in-depth analyses and research to extract valuable insights from complex datasets. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our understanding of drilling operations and informing strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive research on data from drilling operations, identifying patterns and trends that can inform operational strategies. Analyze large datasets to uncover insights related to drilling performance and efficiency. Integrate research findings into actionable recommendations. Develop and validate predictive models to enhance our understanding of drilling dynamics. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques, applying new methodologies to ongoing research projects. Document research methodologies, findings, and insights for internal knowledge sharing and future reference. Qualifications Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and data interpretation. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with data visualization tools. Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques is a plus. Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a keen interest in research and data analysis. Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
