Your Mission As the senior engineering authority on-site, you will be the strategic guardian of the entire physical asset. Your mandate is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all building systems, from guest rooms and critical infrastructure to the exclusive gym and popular dining outlet. You will translate technical expertise into business strategy, protecting the property's value and enhancing its reputation for flawless comfort. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic advice to senior management on maintenance, operational efficiency, and long-term asset planning. Ensure 100% adherence to all statutory regulations and the company's stringent Fire, Life, Health, Safety, and Security (FLHSS) standards. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to maximize reliability and safety. Oversee all engineering projects, from design and specification to execution, managing both in-house teams and external contractors. Prepare and submit property enhancement proposals and capital project plans for approval. Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Manage the engineering department budget, forecasts, and operational costs with financial acumen. The Candidate We Seek Holds a Bachelor's degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Is a Registered Electrical Worker (Grade B or C) with a valid green card. Brings a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience within the hotel/hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role (Director of Engineering, Chief Engineer, or equivalent). Possesses expert technical knowledge in Electrical Systems, MVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Fire Services Systems, and Plumbing & Drainage. Demonstrates proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Exhibits strong leadership, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills. You are a self‑motivated team player with an unwavering sense of responsibility. Has a genuine commitment to operational excellence and sustainable practices.
