We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our finance operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Management: Oversee and manage the entire financial function, including accounting, treasury, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance teams in Hong Kong, PRC, and Vietnam. Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration. Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, alongside in‑depth commentary. Ensure full compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements in all operating locations. Strategic Planning: Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide strategic financial insights to the Managing Director and senior leadership team to support business growth and decision‑making. Operational Control: Maintain and enhance robust financial controls, processes, and systems, with a strong focus on using SAP . Manage and streamline financial workflows to improve efficiency and mitigate risks. Cost Management: Conduct detailed cost analysis, particularly for manufacturing operations, to identify cost‑saving opportunities and support pricing strategies and contract negotiations. Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and other key stakeholders. Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions. Qualifications and Experience Professional Certification: A fully qualified CPA or ACCA with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Industry Experience: A minimum of 7‑10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3‑5 years in a senior leadership or management role, preferably within the electronic manufacturing sector. Regional Expertise: Proven experience working in the PRC and/or Vietnam . In‑depth knowledge of local tax regulations, customs, and business practices is essential. Technical Skills: Solid, hands‑on experience with SAP is a must. Proficiency with other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus. Leadership & Soft Skills Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop a multi‑location, cross‑cultural finance team. Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly and credibly to both finance and non‑finance audiences. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). Other Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently to PRC and Vietnam as required.
