Senior Finance Associate/ Assistant Finance Manager (Virtual Asset) Job Overview : The Senior Finance Associate/Assistant Finance Manager will lead critical financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting strategic growth. This role involves managing financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and treasury functions for Hong Kong and overseas entities, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive business expansion and operational efficiency in a dynamic cryptocurrency environment. Job Responsibilities : Manage the full spectrum of financial and regulatory reporting for Hong Kong and overseas entities, ensuring compliance with SFC regulations and international standards (IFRS/GAAP). Independently oversee company and group‑level financial and regulatory audits for Hong Kong and overseas entities. Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision‑making for Hong Kong and global operations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business expansion and ensure compliance in Hong Kong and international markets. Oversee treasury functions, including payments, cash flow, liquidity management, daily reconciliations, and wallet operations support. Conduct cost analysis to optimize payment processes and minimize operational expenses. Act as the primary contact for auditors, assessors, regulators, and tax authorities, addressing queries and providing timely responses. Support ad‑hoc business and finance initiatives, including automation and account opening. Job Qualifications : Minimum of 5 years of audit and commercial finance experience, preferably from Big 4 accounting firms and the cryptocurrency, brokerage, or payment industries. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent). Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS/GAAP standards and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong, UAE, Europe, and Bermuda. In-depth expertise in Financial Resources Rules (FRR) reporting to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) is mandatory. Strong communication and cross‑departmental collaboration skills, with fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Familiarity with the cryptocurrency or digital asset industry is preferred. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and excel in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
