Senior Construction Manager

Senior Construction Manager (Luxury Retail) This renowned luxury brand is expanding its global retail footprint and is seeking an experienced Construction leader to manage the project and construction management of new store openings across the APAC region. Responsibilities Project Planning: Liaise with landlords, local architects and authorities to secure all necessary drawings, permits and approvals; Conduct site surveys, assess design feasibility and define project milestones; Appoint and coordinate consultants; Prepare sample boards and lead weekly coordination meetings; Manage full tender process: drawings, Schedule of Rates (SOR), contract T&Cs, RFIs and contractor selection; Establish and strictly monitor CAPEX budget throughout the project. Construction Management: Oversee mock‑up development, shop‑drawing reviews and factory inspections; Continuously update the master construction programme; Supervise the main contractor to guarantee uncompromising standards of excellence; Resolve technical issues, answer RFIs and ensure design intent, functionality are executed; Manage pre‑handover inspections, punch‑list issuance and coordinate final VM before handover; Daily upkeep of existing Graff boutiques. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design or related discipline. Minimum 8 years’ international experience in luxury retail construction/project management. Proven track record of delivering high‑end retail projects from tender to handover. Strong ability to read and review architectural & MEP construction drawings. Exceptional organisation, problem‑solving skills, hands‑on eye for detail and quality. Outstanding leadership, communication and negotiation abilities. “Can‑do” attitude and genuine passion for luxury and excellence.
