Country Manager - Hong Kong Office at Madison Pearl On behalf of an international commercial and investment bank we are seeking an experienced business development professional who has a demonstrable track record of identifying and on-boarding UHNW and HNW clients. Salary: HKD 60,000 – 80,000 per month depending upon experience + bonus What this role requires: Excellent understanding of the private banking / wealth management industry in Hong Kong and China. Demonstrable track record of acquiring new clients. NB – if you come from other areas of financial services but have the requisite client base / contact list we would still be happy to speak. Role: Develop and implement strategies to attract and acquire new HNIs/ UHNI clients. Actively source leads through personal, professional networks, high-profile events, external partnerships with Tax Consultants, Accounting firms, Lawyers, Corporate Service Providers, IFAs, EAMs and other market referrals. Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients throughout the acquisition and onboarding process. Work closely with head office to facilitate on-boarding and marketing etc. Requirements: 7+ years in private banking, wealth management, or similar Extensive contact base across U/HNW clients Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in finance, business or related area Deep understanding of Hong Kong’s regulatory environment and rules. Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required with Cantonese and/or other regional languages beneficial.
