Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) Ref. no: C/PEAK/SPO/09/25-AP1 Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) is one of the member institutions of the Vocational Training Council responsible for the provision of in‑service training and professional examination services. More than 200 major companies have utilised its corporate training services. Major Duties To spearhead the planning, design, development and marketing of award‑bearing insurance training programmes, professional examinations and other services; To manage PEAK’s award‑bearing and non‑award bearing training programmes; To provide support for matters relating to the accreditation / re‑accreditation of PEAK’s programmes; and implement VTC quality assurance policies; To grow customer base and develop new market opportunities for PEAK in Hong Kong, Macau and in the Mainland; and To achieve annual financial income targets and business results. Requirements A recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Insurance, Finance, or Risk Management, preferably with a master’s degree; At least 5 years’ relevant experience in the insurance or related industry, preferably with exposure in training and development, and management of QF‑accredited programmes; Relevant professional qualification(s) in insurance, e.g. ANZIIF, CII, etc. are highly preferred; In‑depth understanding of the latest regulatory requirements, technical knowledge, market practices and training and development needs of the local insurance industry; Proven records in service selling and account management with an established business network in the insurance, banking and financial services industries; and Good communication and presentation skills with a high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. Notes The post is at rank of Senior Lecturer. Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and multiple locations within and outside Hong Kong.
