Join to apply for the Sustainability Consultant role at JLL . What this job involves We are looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join our Sustainability Consulting business line. Our services involve helping clients define compelling visions, create leading strategies and develop challenging targets. You will have exposure to high‑profile investor and corporate occupier clients in Hong Kong and the wider APAC region. What your day‑to‑day will look like Develop technical expertise in relation to the sustainability agenda in real estate. Ongoing development and improvement of the methodologies, models and frameworks used to support delivery of services to clients. Build strong working relationships with client property and sustainability teams through accurate and timely advice and deliverables. Work as part of a team to develop carbon emission reduction targets, such as Net Zero Carbon targets and associated roadmaps and action plans. Calculate GHG emissions (based on the GHG Protocol) and report via mandatory and voluntary disclosure schemes. Carry out research to support delivery of services and thought leadership, enhancing client offerings and ensuring the team remains at the forefront of emerging thinking. Preparation of presentations, reports, workshops and data analysis. Deliver wider sustainability reporting services, such as IFRS‑2, TCFD, GRESB, CDP, etc. Effective time management and prioritisation of tasks to ensure delivery of services to clients on time and within budget. Work in a rigorous manner to deliver accurate, high‑quality, engaging and client‑ready outputs. Deliver client workshops and engagements and present information in a clear and compelling manner. Take a client through the strategy implementation journey, creating well‑crafted goals, action plans and bringing the strategy to life through engagement. Desired or preferred experience and technical skills Passionate and purpose‑driven: enthusiastic and proactive in delivering services that support clients in tackling the climate crisis. Emotionally intelligent and a relationship builder: trusted member of the team, delivering high‑quality work on time and sensitively challenging the status quo to propose service innovations. Problem solver and critical thinker: strong data analysis abilities, identifying trends and patterns to deliver insight to the client. Curious, inquiring and proactive: an agile mind that seeks answers and remains at the cutting edge of sustainability, using knowledge to drive continuous improvement. Required skills and experience A degree (in an analytical field such as engineering or economics) and a minimum of two years of experience in a relevant role (e.g., sustainability or professional services) delivering strategy or advisory work. Excellent skills with Excel (or other analytical tools) – analysing, interpreting and visualising data. Excellent written and oral communication skills – able to synthesize information and to draft reports, prepare and deliver presentations to very high standards.
