Volunteer – Breadline Bucket‑Bag Summer Join us to rescue bread each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:00‑9:30 pm and deliver to designated drop‑off points. Project Details Sign up on Breadline.hk and choose the bakeries to collect from. Bring your own collection bags. Check‑in for real‑time updates. We seek volunteers who are agile, flexible, independent, reliable and energetic. Every Mon/Wed/Fri 7pm‑9:30pm – one‑time volunteers are also welcomed. Let’s work toward zero waste. Note : Breadline does not provide volunteer certificates or letters of participation. Background Every day, over 3,250 tonnes of food waste are dumped into landfills in Hong Kong, while one in five people live in poverty and struggle to eat. Breadline is Hong Kong’s first public digital platform for food rescue. Volunteers connect with bakeries on Breadline to rescue leftover bread in real‑time, delivering it the same night to grassroots partners.
