Senior Accountant, Finance Accounting Team Prepare group consolidated financial statements and elimination entries. Handle external financial reporting for both company and group levels. Prepare interim and annual financial statements. Submit regular and ad hoc financial reports to headquarters as required. Assist in managing external audit projects, coordinating with auditors and internal departments to meet audit requirements in a timely manner. Respond promptly to audit inquiries and maintain effective communication with external auditors. Proprietary Trading Accounting Perform daily accounting for proprietary trading business (including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and global commodities), including voucher preparation and bank reconciliation. Manage full set of accounts, including daily bookkeeping and month-end closing. Monitor daily investment positions and profit/loss for each trading desk. Licensed Corporation Accounting & Compliance Responsible for daily accounting duties including preparation of vouchers and bank reconciliations for all licensed corporations within the group (including entities performing securities brokerage business, futures brokerage business, and asset management business). Prepare monthly Financial Resources Rules (FRR) reports, daily FRR, and client money segregation reports. Handle full set of accounts including daily routine work and month-end closing. Ensure compliance with FRR and other regulatory requirements under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO). Other Duties Handle ad hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned. Job Requirements Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance. 5 years or above work experience within the financial industry, preferably in securities brokerage firm or banking sector. Familiar with FRR and other regulatory requirements under the SFO. Attention to details, earnest to learn, responsible, self‑motivated. Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Possess excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). We offer attractive remuneration and benefits including 5-day working week to the right candidates.
