About the Role In order to cope with our expansion, we are now looking for high caliber candidates to join us as a Responsible Officer (SFC Type 1 RO) . The role is responsible for overseeing the operations, ensuring compliance with SFC Code of Conduct, managing business strategy, liaising with the SFC, and driving business growth. Responsibilities Ensure all Type 1 activities (securities dealing) comply with SFC regulations, codes, and guidelines. Implement business strategies, manage investment projects, and oversee daily operations. Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, conduct risk assessments, and manage regulatory reporting. Act as the primary contact for the regulators. Participate in new product development while ensuring regulatory alignment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Must be a licensed RO approved by the SFC for Type 1 activities. Proven management, industry, and regulatory experience, often including rights issues and share placements. Strong leadership, communication (English, Chinese), and organizational skills. Must be deemed "fit and proper" by the SFC, demonstrating integrity, prudence, and competence.
