The Compliance Manager will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the local compliance program to ensure full adherence to all applicable regulations. The Compliance Manager will be a key member of the PingPong global compliance team, reporting to the Hong Kong Compliance Officer. Responsibilities Oversee the HK AML/CFT and regulatory compliance program, including the ongoing review and assessment of compliance issues and risks. Develop, implement and maintain the compliance policies and procedures to reflect evolving regulatory requirements. Prepare regulatory reports as required and file STRs to JFIU accurately and timely. Keep abreast of the latest regulatory requirements for provision of advice and support to top management on strategic activities, internal controls and daily operations in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirement. Provide expert compliance advice to management, business, products and operational teams on strategic initiatives, new products, customer onboarding and monitoring, and day-to-day operations. Conduct risk assessment for new products, services and customer profiles, and monitor the control implementation. Develop and deliver effective compliance training to employees on AML/Compliance regulations, internal policies and conduct standards to foster a strong culture of compliance. Manage effective working relationships with partner banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Lead and coordinate responses to examinations, regulatory inquiries, internal and external audits. Manage the end-to-end process for license renewal and any other regulatory requirements. Qualifications Education and Experience Degree or above in related area Minimum of 5 years of relevant compliance experience in HK MSO compliance. Possess sound knowledge of the Hong Kong regulatory environment including the MSO licensing regime, AML ordinances, and other applicable laws. Track record of successfully managing complex compliance program and providing pragmatic solutions in a fast-paced environment. Skills and Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese Self-motivated starter who thrives under pressure in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry. Strategic, pragmatic, and solution-oriented, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions autonomously. Highly organized with problem-solving skills and the ability to achieve compliance objectives.
