Client Description Well‑known semi‑Public utilities company Job Description Senior Data Architect Responsibilities Design and develop new data products and integrations, and maintain the overall data roadmap Coordinate and collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to define and prioritise data and analytics use cases Formulate and communicate the vision, strategies and roadmap for building strategic and business critical data and analytics capabilities Align the data and analytics portfolio to strategic priorities, business dependencies, and operational needs Initiate and lead discovery work for any new data intelligence product, and prototype and validate a minimum viable product (MVP) with technical teams Manage and balance the trade-offs among conflicting business priorities for data Keep abreast of the latest energy industry trends and incorporate them into the data and analytics products Drive sustainable improvements through leading data management and analytics technology and process optimisation practices Empower teams across the business to use BI environment to get the most of performance reviews and business insights Senior Analyst - Data Responsibilities Work with the Senior Architect – Data to design for the data and analytics data models, ensuring that data models is holistically designed across projects aligning to overall data models Work with functional team to create, document, maintain and drive the understanding of data hierarchy, relationship, meaning, flow across the solution Ensure consistent language of data is used across projects aligning with the enterprise data catalogue Work with Senior Project Manager – Integration and Data Migration, Senior Architect – Data, Function Teams, data SME in business and Data Migration Engineer on data conversion and migration, mock cutover and cutover activities Supporting business functions to collect and/or utilise the correct data to fulfil its business needs, focusing on data content, context, and associated business rules Ensuring that data quality is sustained during technical processing Resolving data quality issues in partnership with business Responsibilities Perform the analysis, design, implementation, testing, validation and acceptance of the delivery of data migration services Partner with functional teams and end-¬user support for data migration services such as data cleansing, data mapping and data archiving and transferring the necessary knowledge to the business users as required Coordinate activities between functional workstreams and digital team for the assigned data objects for data migration Partnering with System Integrator, Data Architect and Senior Project Manager – Integration and Data, and Digital Teams on data extraction, load and transfer activities to cope with overall project plan Job Requirements Senior Data Architect Requirements Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Engineering or related field 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, working with data and analytics and/or other business intelligence products Supervisory and leadership experience Experience in IT Project / Program Management, IT Service Management, Agile Delivery Methods Experience in big data / AI / data science is preferable Experience in the energy sector or other asset-intensive industries is desirable Knowledge and work experience with MS SQL and cloud technology platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS Technical competence to understand and influence the data solution context, approach and lifecycle Ability to conceptualise and articulate complex technical ideas in business context Ability to handle multiple complex assignments and meet tight deadlines Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, verbal and written Senior Analyst - Data Requirements A recognized university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent At least 4-6 years in similar role Analytics skills in data mining, analyzing, evaluation Technical requirement writing experience in data and/or relevant areas Prior experience in master data management, data warehousing or data modelling preferred Experience in ERP / Azure cloud platforms and technology Experience in the energy sector or other asset-intensive industries’ standard data models (e.g., IEC CIM) an advantage Good knowledge of the business processes and rules Strong problem-solving skills, intelligent, proactive, and the ability to thrive under pressure Good interpersonal and communication skills (detail oriented) Able to adapt and work with colleagues from different functions with different business needs Requirements A recognized university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent 4-6 year relevant experience Experience in data migration activities in project mode Analytics skills in data mapping, analyzing, and evaluation Understanding of business data objects and meaning is an advantage Ability to communicate and present ideas effectively with business users Detail oriented Solid problem-solving and analytical skills Self driving, and the ability to thrive under pressure Able to prioritise multiple tasks in case of conflicting priories and project timelines Function Information Technology Employment Type Permanent / Direct Contract (2/3 year renewable) #J-18808-Ljbffr
