This full‑time position offers a 13‑month salary plus performance bonus, a five‑day work week, and opportunities to travel to China. Offices are located in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing. Job Description An American‑based trading and buying office specializing in licensed and branded toys seeks a Senior Product Developer to join its Hong Kong sourcing and OEM product development center. Responsible for both hard and soft toy categories, supporting North, Central, and South America market operations. Key role in vendor management and factory coordination in China. Key Responsibilities Manage end‑to‑end project lifecycle from artwork receipt, quotation, prototyping, tooling, to mass production. Lead product development across hard toys, soft toys, and arts & crafts categories. Source new vendors, products, and accessories to expand supply capabilities. Oversee order follow‑up and ensure timely execution. Evaluate and manage planning, scheduling, costing, and milestone tracking. Collaborate closely with overseas Design, Innovation, and Purchasing teams. Coordinate with quality assurance and factory engineering teams to resolve technical issues during development and production. Negotiate product costing, production schedules, commercial terms, and shipment timelines. Handle vendor relations and purchase order management. Maintain systematic filing and data uploads for internal records. Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned. Ideal Candidates Engineering background or proven experience in hard toy development with strong manufacturing process knowledge. Minimum 3 years of experience in licensed or branded toy product development. Proficient in spreadsheet creation and data handling. Solid understanding of toy production processes and materials. Knowledge of L/C documents. Demonstrated project management and problem‑solving capabilities. Experience with ERP systems; Oracle experience is an advantage. Positive, proactive, detail‑oriented, and well‑organised team player. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written).
