Preferred Skills Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred Coordinating complex data integration efforts across legacy systems in multiple countries Balancing competing priorities and resource demands from different markets and business units Navigating regulatory challenges related to data privacy and cross-border data transfers in Asia Managing the cultural and operational differences in data maturity across diverse Asian markets Aligning technical solutions with varying levels of infrastructure and technological readiness Driving adoption of advanced analytics tools and promoting a data‑driven culture in traditional business environments Resolving conflicts between global standardization efforts and local market customization needs Mitigating risks associated with large‑scale data transformation initiatives Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field; masters degree preferred 10 years of experience in program management with at least 5 years focused on data and analytics initiatives Proven track record of successfully delivering large‑scale multi‑country data programs Strong understanding of data analytics technologies, methodologies and best practices Knowledge of financial services or insurance industry a plus Excellent leadership communication and problem‑solving skills Exhibits strong analytical skills and data‑driven decision‑making capabilities Possesses excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels Shows resilience and composure when dealing with complex high‑pressure situations Embraces continuous learning particularly in emerging data technologies and analytics methodologies Demonstrates a structured and methodical approach to programme management while remaining adaptable to change Maintains a strong customer focus always considering the end‑user impact of data initiatives Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more Asian languages highly desirable Responsibilities Program Leadership and Execution Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale complex data and analytics programs across multiple Asian markets Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans ensuring alignment with Sun Life’s strategic objectives Implement robust program governance frameworks to ensure consistent delivery and quality across all initiatives Data Strategy Implementation Translate Sun Life’s regional data strategy into actionable program roadmaps Identify and prioritize high‑impact data initiatives that deliver tangible business value Ensure program outcomes align with long‑term data and analytics objectives Stakeholder Management and Communication Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business units and executive leadership Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different Asian markets Communicate program progress, risks and outcomes effectively to all levels of the organization Risk and Issue Management Proactively identify and mitigate risks across the data and analytics program portfolio Develop contingency plans and lead resolution efforts for complex program issues Ensure compliance with data governance standards and regulatory requirements across diverse Asian markets Resource Optimization Manage and optimize program resources including budget, personnel and technology assets Coordinate cross‑functional teams across different countries to ensure efficient program delivery Identify opportunities for synergies and efficiencies across multiple data initiatives Change Management and Adoption Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new data solutions and processes Develop strategies to overcome resistance and drive cultural change towards data‑driven decision making Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development teams to design and implement data literacy programs Performance Monitoring and Reporting Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for data and analytics programs Implement robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track program performance Provide regular updates to executive leadership on program status, outcomes and strategic impact Vendor and Partner Management Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners Ensure alignment between vendor deliverables and program objectives Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to optimize value for Sun Life Job Category : Advanced Analytics Posting End Date : 14 / 12 / 2025 Required Experience : Director #J-18808-Ljbffr
